World champions include Mika Häkkinen, Jenson Button, Damon Hill and Jackie Stewart – who have the small matter of seven F1 Drivers’ titles between them.

Other F1 drivers set to be at the Festival include nine-time Grand Prix winner Mark Webber, six-time winner Riccardo Patrese and Sky Sports presenter, Williams Heritage driver and former HRT and Lotus driver Karun Chandhok. Which Le Mans racers will be at the Festival?

Between Tom Kristensen and Andre Lotterer, there are the small matter of 12 Le Mans victories set to be on the Hill. Lotterer will be joined by his former Audi team-mate, with whom he shared all his Le Mans victories, Benoit Treluyer as well as one-time La Sarthe victor, and Goodwood House Captain, Jochen Mass.

Jacky Ickx and Derek Bell, perhaps the greatest team-mates in Le Mans history, who have 11 wins between them, will both be at the Festival of Speed as well as 1970 winner, and the man who clinched Porsche’s first ever win at Le Mans, Richard Attwood. Five-time Le Mans champion, and also a Goodwood House Captain, Emanuele Pirro and the man who has raced at Le Mans more than any other: Henri Pescarolo top off the list.

Will there be any motorcycle racers at the Festival of Speed?

In simple terms, of course there will! We’ve already announced that Wayne Rainey is going to get back on a Grand Prix bike again for the first time since he was paralysed in an accident. Joining him will be his old adversaries, Kenny Roberts, Mick Doohan and Kevin Schwantz. We’ll also have one of the most successful motorcycle racers of all time at Goodwood, as Giacomo Agostini returns the estate. Fellow MotoGP race-winner Dani Pedrosa will also return to Goodwood this summer.

From the world of road racing, you can expect to see 16-time Isle of Man TT winner Ian Hutchinson, no doubt dangling a wheel in the air for the crowd as he heads under that famous Festival of Speed bridge.

Are any US racers coming to the Festival?

Of course! The Festival of Speed wouldn’t be what it is without some of the greatest drivers in American racing history. As well as preparing to race at the Revival again, four-time IndyCar champion and triple Indy 500 winner Dario Franchitti will be seen on the Hill in various cars through the weekend. He’ll be joined by current IndyCar racer Tatiana Calderon and there will be a cohort of stars from Formula Drift ready to head back to Goodwood for the first time since the Covid-19 Pandemic.

What other racing drivers will we see at Goodwood?

As if that wasn’t a good enough list, we can also add stars including Sir Chris Hoy, touring car legend Klaus Ludwig, Extreme E star Catie Munnings, sportscar legend Brian Redman, German ace Hans Stuck, multiple F1 race winner John Watson and many more at the Festival. This page will be regularly updated with more names as they are confirmed.
