
A video of a red pinballing around a parking lot has been going viral across social media. The City was driven by a thief who successfully escaped capture and the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) is now on the hunt for the man.
According to a Harian Metro report, the suspect tried to steal items worth RM 952.19 from a hypermarket in Tebrau, Johor.
PDRM has since discovered that the suspect is one Muhammad Firdaus Shamsudin whose address is in Gemas, Negeri Sembilan.
Johor Bahru South district police chief, Asst Comm Raub Selamat, also revealed that the suspect has several records from theft to the misuse of drugs. The suspect is also wanted by the police for two drug cases.
Raub also revealed that the suspect wasn’t alone when he was discovered shoplifting. He told reporters that the store management was able to detain a 31-year-old woman who was with the suspect at the time.
The woman tested positive for methamphetamine and has three previous criminal records connected to drugs.

Amongst the items that the suspects were trying to steal include various types of chocolates, gastric medication, a seat hook, and a car phone holder. All items add up to RM 952.19.
The female suspect will be remanded for four days and will be investigated under Section 380 of the Penal Code. The case will also be investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code.
