Are the likes of the Lamborghini Urus, the Aston Martin DBX, and the Audi RS Q8 not enough for the performance-loving family man who needs something blisteringly quick yet practical?

If your answer is yes, then look no further at the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, the automaker’s most extreme iteration of its midsize SUV that just so happens to also hold the record for the fastest production SUV around the Nurburgring Nordschleife with a time of 7:38.9.

It’s now available in the Philippines, offered solely in the four-seater Coupe configuration, so you need not look far for one.

To give a bit of a refresher, the 4.0-liter biturbo V8 with 631hp and 850Nm is mated to an eight-speed Tiptronic S transmission that allows the SUV to hit the 100km/h mark in 3.3 seconds, and will power all the way to a top speed of 300km/h.

It comes with all available chassis systems as standard, so the three-chamber air suspension, the Porsche Active Suspension Management, the rear-wheel steering, the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control active roll stabilization, the Porsche Traction Management system, and the Porsche Ceramic Composite brakes are all present.

It also has aggressive aerodynamic elements, most of which are made out of carbon fiber.

You’ll see the lightweight material adorn the contoured roof, the side plates on the roof spoiler, the lip on the retractable spoiler, and the rear diffuser. Finally, the car rides on 22-inch GT Design wheels that are finished in Neodyme color and shod in Pirelli P Zero Corsa rubber.

If you want to view the performance SUV in person, you can catch it in Porsche Center Philippines showrooms. You can also contact (0917) 880-0328 to know more about the vehicle.
