Since its introduction, the all-new 2023 Nissan Z has been one of the most hyped new models. Because of the excitement surrounding this car, drivers are looking for any way to experience this car. But, because of this car’s hype, it may not be possible to get behind the wheel of one of these models. Luckily, enthusiasts who wish to experience the new Nissan Z can do that by playing Rocket League.

What is Rocket League?

Rocket League is a free-to-play soccer game where the player takes control of a rocket-powered car to hit a ball toward the opponent’s goal. The cars can jump up to hit the ball and get a speed boost to get around the field faster.

Since its release in 2016, this game has become one of the most popular games, with a thriving Esports scene and crowds of new players. Initially, players needed to pay for the game, but in 2020, Psyonix, the developer, converted Rocket League to free-to-play, which brought in a massive influx of players.

According to Steam Charts, Rocket League averages around 25,000 players but can peak as high as 100,000 players.

Why is the new Z in the game?

Because of the excitement behind the all-new 2023 Nissan Z, it was only fitting that Rocket League brought this sports car into the game. The Nissan Z is available to download to players for 1,100 credits, or $11. That’s quite a bit cheaper than the $51,000 price tag of a Nissan Z.

One of the great features of this new car is that you will get the Nissan Performance trim level. This means you will get the authentic styling found on the actual model, such as the wheels and trim. You get real engine audio to experience the thrilling sound of the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 as you try to score!

Giving players the chance to experience this sought-after sports car is not the only reason this partnership is happening. Along with bringing more excitement to the upcoming Z, Rocket League will also receive additional benefits. Nissan is the banner sponsor for the forthcoming Rocket League Championship Series North American Regionals. This tournament will be called the “Nissan Classic.” Additionally, Nissan will be sponsoring the Collegiate Rocket League World Championship this upcoming fall.
