We have appended below the official statement by Dennis Michael, Head of Company of Next Bike Sdn Bhd. Next Bike is the official distributor of Ducati motorcycles in Malaysia. As some of you may have seen on the internet last week pictures of a flooded service centre due to the heavy downpour, Next Bike wants to clarify the situation and its subsequent actions.
“Following the recent Klang Valley flash flood last week, Ducati Malaysia is committed to meeting the needs of their customers and all parties affected. Since last Thursday, the team has thoroughly assessed all customers’ bikes at the Ducati PJ Service Centre, in accordance to stringent global guidelines set out by Ducati Motor Holding. We are constantly contacting the owners to provide them timely updates on the status of their bikes.
This strong commitment is to be expected from the Ducati brand renowned for its worldwide reputation. Thus, it is our duty to provide customers with Ducati bikes of top-notch quality.
Please be assured that once the Movement Control Order (MCO) is lifted, the Ducati PJ Showroom will be ready for customers and Ducatistis to visit and view the latest Ducati and Scrambler bike models, as well as new models that are in the line-up for the year.
Additionally, Ducati Sungai Buloh and Ducati Penang have taken safety and precautionary measures to welcome customers for sales and after-sales post-MCO.
If you have further enquiries, please reach out to us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.”
