- You need to head to the RTO for the DL test and pay Rs 40. The RTO also charges Rs 300 for taking the DL practical test.
- Finally, you can take your driving license test on the scheduled date and time. After clearing this test and fee payment, the RTO will deliver the DL to your doorstep in a few days.

LMV Test Sequence
The LMV test sequence tests different motorcar skills. Here are the minimum requirements to clear your driving license test in India:
- The person should be able to drive forward on an “8” shaped route.
- The person should be able to drive backwards on an “S” shaped course.
- The person should have the proficiency to parallel park.
- Lastly, the person should understand driving forward on the road with an upward gradient.

If you wish to take the driving license test in India, you must clear a handful of paperwork. Below, we have mentioned all the documents that are required for registration and retention of driving license test in India:
- If you’re applying for a learner’s license, you’ll need six passport-sized photographs. In the case of a driver’s license, one passport-sized picture will do the job.
- You’ll also need to fill up the application form and submit it.
- The process also demands a government certified doctor to sign your medical certificate. This certificate is mandatory for all applicants over 40 years.
- Applicants also need to attach an address proof with the form.
