MG Motor has launched the much-awaited ‘Advanced Gloster’ SUV in India at Rs 31.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). As part of the update, the new MG Advanced Gloster SUV comes with 75 new Connected Car features.
In addition to that, the new MG Advanced Gloster SUV sports new advanced safety features such as the Door Opening Warning (DOW), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), and Lane Change Assist (LCA). Thanks to these new safety features, the MG Advanced Gloster SUV becomes a lot more safer as well.
In order to access the new 75 Connected Car features, MG Motor has equipped the new 2022 MG Advanced Gloster SUV with the company’s latest Advance I-Smart infotainment system. Thanks to this new infotainment system, users can use a dedicated app as an in-car remote to control various functions in the car such as the audio, air conditioning, mood lighting and various other connected car features.
Speaking about the new infotainment system, the system sports a 12.2-inch touchscreen and a 12-speaker audio setup. Also, the system also sports Shortpedia News App, and a voice-enabled Gaana song search.
As part of making the connected car features even more accessible and convenient, MG Motor has also made the i-SMART app accessible for Android watch users as well. In addition to all these features, the latest update adds an in-built navigation system powered by MapmyIndia. This system will be further enhanced by live weather and AQI index as well.

The new MG Advanced Gloster SUV continues to use the two engine options from the previous iterations. The 2WD variants of the MG Gloster SUV are powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine with 160bhp of peak power and 375Nm of peak torque.
On the other hand, the 4WD variants of the MG Gloster SUV are powered by a twin-turbo version of the same engine. This iteration of the engine produces best-in-segment 212.5bhp of peak power and 480Nm of peak torque. Also, both these engines come mated to an identical 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard. The 4WD variant sports an all-terrain system with 7 modes as well.
Moreover, the MG Advanced Gloster SUV continues to come packed with features such as a 360-degree surround-view camera system, wireless charger, heated front seats, massaging seats, cooled seats, PM2.5 filter, auto headlights, powered seats, auto-dimming IRVM, heated ORVMs, push button start/stop, drive modes, and many more.
Other than this, the MG Advanced Gloster SUV also comes with advanced safety features such as Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), driver fatigue reminder, Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Park Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and more.
That being said, the new MG Advanced Gloster SUV is available in 3 trim levels – Super, Sharp, and Savvy. However, both the 6-seater variants and 4WD variants are available only on the top-spec Savvy trim level.
