Log9 unveiled its InstaCharging station and introduced Responsible Delivery Movement to ease electric mobility transition.
According to the start-up company, Responsible Delivery Movement was introduced to make sustainable deliveries with EV Fleets. Apart from that, the start-up company also believes that the initiative is a step forward towards decarbonizing India’s B2B logistics segment in the long run.
During the event, Log9 also showcased their climate-friendly and commercially-viable battery technology that can drive large-scale EV adoption in the last-mile delivery business and other commercial sectors.
Speaking at the launch event, Dr AkshaySinghal, Founder & CEO, Log9 Materials said, “As a Responsible Energy company, the ‘ResponsibleDeliveryMovement’ is Log9’s initiative to revolutionize the future of the last-mile delivery segment with Log 9’s InstaCharge batteries integrated into EVs – which in turn shall integrate in letter, spirit and in action’Responsible Deliveries via EVs’ into India’s DNA.”
Speaking about the company, it describes itself as a responsible energy company that is developing advanced EV batteries and energy storage technologies.
Moreover, the start-up company is confident that the Responsible Delivery Movement campaign could start a nationwide movement towards a more sustainable and responsible way of doing deliveries on electric vehicles.
In the event, the company demonstrated its battery and charging technology and briefed its plans for the future. The battery technology was demonstrated on an electric scooter, snd the demonstration proved the company’s claim of charging an electric scooter from 0% charge to 100% charge in 15 minutes.

According to Log9, the company will feature an innovative customer-participatory approach, wherein potential and existing delivery customers could choose to become a part of the Responsible Delivery Movement, and over time, contribute actively towards building a powerful community platform.

As per the company, Log9 batteries are designed to seamlessly integrate with public charging infrastructure spread across the nation and the company has mapped its technology to be charged on any public charging unit and have successfully integrated the GB/T connectors with their batteries.
Speaking at the event Dr.Pawan Agrawal, an international motivational speaker said “I can also confidently promise that within a very short period of time, even a significant majority of Mumbai Dabbawalas will be switching to Rapid EVs that charge in 15 minutes using Log9 batteries.”
Also, to make life easier for fleet operators, Log9 has developed its own application to help fleet operators locate the nearest InstaCharge charging station. This according to Log9 enables the fleet operators to plan their delivery routes efficiently.
Starting with Bengaluru, Log9 will be launching its InstaCharge Stations to increase the density of available charging units across the country. Moreover, the company is also working on a plan to install its InstaCharge Stations at the fleet owner’s base location to support a hub and spoke model.
To further aid the EV revolution in the commercial sector, Log9 plans to provide ‘InstaCharge-On-Demand’ service via a mobile EV-charging station which can provide on-demand roadside assistance in case of any emergency.
According to Log9, Rapid-charging batteries enable the commercial fleet operators to minimize downtime and ensure operational flexibility/efficiency, thus leading to greater earning potential.
Log9 claims that their battery packs are extremely safe and are made for Indian conditions, and have been tested across temperatures ranging from -30° to 60° C and with an unmatched operational life of up to 40,000 charge-discharge cycles.
This means the EVs equipped with the Log9 battery pack does not need any heating/cooling elements to keep the battery at optimum temperature. These features make Log9 RapidXbatteries the ultimate solution for electric powered final mile delivery, allowing operators to benefit from reduced operating costs while playing a role in lowering carbon emissions.
Crunching numbers, Log9’s estimates an emission reduction of 49% as compared to ICE vehicles used for deliveries.
Recently, Hero Electric collaborated with Log9 Materials for battery packs and under this partnership, Log9 Materials will supply InstaCharging battery packs for the entire range of Hero Electric Scooters.
Thoughts About Log9
The biggest disadvantage of electric vehicles has always been their charging time. However, it looks like Log9 has been able to solve that issue to a large extent using their patented technology.
Despite having such huge potential in the personal EV segment, the start-up company will be focussing on the commercial segment during the initial stages.
