South Korean car manufacturer Kia has launched the new Sonet X Line in India. The Kia Sonet X Line is based on the SUV’s top-spec GTX+ variant but sits atop it and gets quite a few cosmetic changes and a tweaked feature set.

Prices for the Kia Sonet X Line start at Rs 13.39 lakh for the petrol for the 1.0-litre turbo petrol variant while the 1.5-litre turbo diesel commands a price tag of Rs 13.99 lakh (all prices mentioned are ex-showroom).

Kia Sonet X Line Design Tweaks

The Kia Sonet X Line gets a few cosmetic changes compared to the regular version of Kia’s smallest SUV offering in India.

The Kia Sonet X Line’s biggest cosmetic change comes in the form of the SUV’s matte Grey paint scheme, a first for a sub-4-metre SUV in India. The ‘Tiger Nose’ grille, front and rear skid plates, and ORVMs are finished in gloss black.

There are dark chrome accents for the fog lamp surrounds while the skid plates feature dark hyper metal highlights. The Kia Sonet X Line rides on 16-inch crystal cut, dual-tone alloy wheels. The X Line variant of the Kia Sonet also gets silver brake callipers and offers a matte finish for both the shark fin antenna and the new X Line badging.
