Keeway has launched the V302C motorcycle in India, making it the fourth product of the Chinese-owned Hungarian brand in the country. The newly launched Keeway V302C motorcycle is priced at Rs 3.89 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Though the newly launched Keeway V302C motorcycle is available in just one trim level, prices for the motorcycle goes up to Rs 4.09 lakh (ex-showroom, India), depending on the colour option.
Speaking about colours, the Keeway V302C motorcycle is available in 3 different colour options – Grey, Black and Red. While the Red colour demands the highest price tag, it is the Grey colour that is the most affordable of the lot. On the other hand, the Keeway V302C motorcycle finished in Black takes the middle ground and it is priced at Rs 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
At this price point, the newly launched Keeway V302C motorcycle has no competitors, however, the model does fill the price gap between the Benelli Imperiale 400 and the Benelli 502C motorcycles.
In terms of design, the Keeway V302C motorcycle is a Bobber-style motorcycle and the motorcycle looks quite butch and big. However, the dimensions of the motorcycle is quite manageable and the seat height is super low at just 690mm.
The biggest highlight of the Keeway V302C motorcycle is its powertrain. Unlike most motorcycles in India, the Keeway V302C motorcycle uses a V-Twin engine much like the Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
However, this V-Twin engine in the Keeway V302C motorcycle is a much smaller 298cc, liquid-cooled engine capable of making a respectable 29bhp of peak power at 8,500rpm and 26.5Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. In addition to that, this motorcycle comes with a 6-speed gearbox as well.
Though the powertrain figures may seem relatively mediocre for a motorcycle at this price point, the Keeway V302C motorcycle has a low kerb weight of just 167kg. Thanks to low kerb weight decent braking performance can be achieved by a 300mm disc brake at the front and a 240mm disc brake at the rear.
Staying true to Bobber-style, the Keeway V302C motorcycle uses smaller 16-inch cast alloy rims at the front shod with 120/80 tyres. At the rear, the Keeway V302C sports 15-inch cast alloy rims shod with chunky 150/80 tyres.
Apart from that, the newly launched Keeway V302C motorcycle sports USD forks at the front with 120mm wheel travel and twin shock absorbers at the rear with 42mm wheel travel. Apart from this, the Keeway V302C motorcycle sports a large-enough 15-litre fuel tank as well.
In terms of features, the Keeway V302C motorcycle comes with all-LED lighting, a fully-digital instrument cluster, dual-channel ABS, and a Belt drive system instead of the usual chain drive.
Thoughts About The Newly Launched Keeway V302C Motorcycle
At almost Rs 4 lakh, the Keeway V302C motorcycle doesn’t really have any competitors and the motorcycle is in a niche segment of its own. While the mediocre specifications of the motorcycle may not urge you to book the motorcycle, the looks of the motorcycle may push a few buyers in the country.
