Cumulative sales of the Hyundai Venue have crossed the 3 lakh unit mark in India.
The Venue was launched in May 2019. Within a year, sales had crossed the 1 lakh unit mark. In 2021, Hyundai sold 1.08 units. The Venue accounted for 42% of Hyundai’s total SUV sales during the year. Today, the crossover is said to have a 16.9% market share in its segment.
According to Hyundai, 70% of the Venue sales come from the petrol models. These include the 1.2-litre petrol and 1.0-litre turbo-petrol variants. It is said that 18% of the Venues sold so far have been equipped with Hyundai’s Advanced Bluelink connected tech.
Hyundai is now gearing up to launch the Venue facelift in India. The carmaker is also likely to introduce the N Line variant.
