All eyes might be on the specs and pricing of the next-generation
Ford Ranger
and
Ford Everest
, but Ford Philippines isn’t stopping there. At its official Philippine launch, they sprung a surprise by announcing two measures which equate to an affordable and worry-free ownership experience.
As a refresher, the next-generation Ford Ranger comes in eight variants for the Philippine market:

Ranger 2.0L Wildtrak 4×4 AT – P 1,875,000
It comes in the following colors: Arctic White (except for Wildtrak), Absolute Black, Luxe Yellow (exclusive for Wildtrak), Snowflake White Pearl (exclusive for Wildtrak), Aluminum Metallic (except for Sport), Meteor Gray (except for XL), Blue Lightning (exclusive for Sport and XLT), and Sedona Orange (exclusive for Wildtrak and Sport).
Meanwhile, the next-generation Everest comes in five variants for the Philippine market:
Everest 2.0L Trend 4×2 AT – P 1,799,000
Everest 2.0L Limited 4×2 AT – P 1,999,000
Everest 2.0L Sport 4×2 AT – P 2,089,000
Everest 2.0L Titanium+ 4×2 AT – P 2,179,000
Everest 2.0L Titanium+ 4×4 AT – P 2,495,000
It comes in the following colors: Absolute Black, Aluminum Metallic, Arctic White (exclusive for Limited and Trend), Equinox Bronze (exclusive for Titanium+), Meteor Gray (exclusive for Titanium+ and Sport), Sedona Orange (exclusive for Titanium+), Snowflake White Pearl (exclusive for Titanium+ and Sport) and Blue Lightning (exclusive for Sport).
Now, whatever the variant, each next-generation Ford Everest and Ford Ranger comes with a bumper-to-bumper 5-year / 150,000-kilometer warranty (whichever comes first).
In addition, the improved 2.0-liter engines—with either 170 horsepower/405 Nm of torque (Single Turbo) or 210 horsepower/500 Nm of torque (Bi-Turbo) comes with an Intelligent Oil Life Monitor (IOLM). This tells the driver when to have an oil change based on actual engine data, operating conditions, and owner driving habits resulting in less frequent oil changes.
These two measures in mind should further lower the cost of ownership and provide peace-of-mind to would-be Everest and Ranger customers.
