Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has launched the Panigale V4 SP in India. The Ducati Panigale V4 SP is priced at Rs 36.07 lakhs ex-showroom (India).
The Ducati Panigale V4 SP is offered in the ‘Winter Test’ livery inspired by that of the Ducati Corse bikes used in the pre-season tests of the MotoGP and World SBK Championships. The Panigale V4 SP features matt black fairing with red accents. The fuel tank sports an exposed brushed aluminium finish while the Marchesini forged magnesium wheels are done up in a pale gold paint scheme.
The Ducati Panigale V4 SP is powered by a 1,103cc, 90-degree V4 engine with its unique counter rotating crankshaft. The engine produces 211.17bhp at 13,000rpm and a peak torque of 124Nm at 10,000rpm.
The engine sends power to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox. The engine features an STM EVO-SBK dry clutch, made from billet aluminium which guarantees a more effective anti-hop function. The assembly of the open clutch cover is made from carbon fibre.
The Panigale V4 SP retains the V4S fully adjustable suspension setup with the Ohlins Nix 30 fork up front and the Ohlins TTX 36 mono shock and an aluminium single-sided swingarm at the rear. Both the front and rear shocks feature electronic compression and rebound daping adjustment.
The Ducati Panigale V4 SP features twin 330mm semi-floating disc brakes on the front wheel which feature 4-piston, radially mounted, Brembo Stylema R brake callipers. The rear end sports a single 245mm disc brake with 2 piston callipers.
The Panigale V4 SP sits on 17-inch Marchesini forged magnesium wheels which are shod with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tyres – 120/70 ZR17 (front) and 200/60 R17 (rear).
The Ducati Panigale V4 SP comes packed with a host of electronic aids including Bosch EVO Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control EVO 3, Ducati Slide Control (DSC), Ducati Wheelie Control EVO, Ducati Power Launch, Ducati Quick Shift up / down EVO 2, Engine Brake Control EVO, Ducati Electronic Suspension EVO, and auto tyre calibration.
