The Redline Edition name in the Chevy lineup is synonymous with sporty appearance items that first appeared on sports cars. This appearance package showed up in 2017 for the Camaro, Silverado, Colorado, and Cruze. For 2023, the bowtie brand adds this package to the 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV electric SUV.
What is the Bolt EUV?
The first fully-electric vehicle in the Chevrolet lineup is the Bolt EV which came to us as a small hatchback with excellent driving range. For 2022, Chevy added the Bolt EUV electric crossover to the market. This new Electric Utility Vehicle (hence the EUV name) showed up with a slightly higher stance and added legroom. Strangely, the Bolt EUV does not offer more cargo room than the Bolt EV hatchback.
The 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV is an electric compact crossover that brings the electric driving qualities desired, but is it cool? Looking at the shape, you might not think it to be a vehicle that you would call cool, especially if your idea of cool is a sports car.
What does the 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV Redline Edition Include?

The Redline Edition is a simple but engaging appearance package added to some Chevy models. According to Autoblog.com, this package includes:
- Black and red Bolt EUV badge on the rear
- Red accents on the mirror caps
- 17-inch gloss-black painted aluminum wheels with red accents
- Jet Black leather interior with red accent stitching
This package is offered for models of the Bolt EUV painted in Mosaic Black Metallic, Silver Flare Metallic, and Summit White in either the LT or Premier trims.
In addition to the Redline Edition package, the Bolt EUV will include Super Cruise and offer a new Radiant Red Tintcoat paint, giving this electric crossover a useful upgrade and a more radiant appearance.
How can you get Super Cruise in your Bolt EUV?
This small electric SUV is available with the Super Cruise feature, but it’s only offered in the top, Premier trim. At this trim, you can enjoy a 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV with the Redline Edition package that has several features you’ll want to enjoy. Kelley Blue Book tells us this trim level offers:

The power and range of the 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV bring you a 200-horsepower electric motor powered by a 65-kWh battery pack. Green Car Reports informs us this results in a driving range of 247 miles with a full charge. This electric SUV can charge overnight using a Level 2 charger.
Does the 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV qualify for a tax credit?
Unfortunately, Chevrolet has sold enough electric vehicles that customers no longer qualify for the original federal tax credit. Some states still offer electric tax credits when EVs are purchased, but that varies from state to state. The new Build Back Better plan lays out more discounts for electric vehicles.
