Dodge has added a new Hemi Orange package to its 2022 Durango R/T, an appearance option first offered last year on the Dodge Challenger and Charger. It includes orange accents based on the original colour of Dodge’s Hemi engine.
The package includes orange and gunmetal grey hood stripes and badging, satin black taillamp badge, and 20-inch “Black Noise” wheels.
Inside, all the seats, steering wheel, armrest, door panels and console lid get orange stitching, and the seatbacks are embroidered with the two-stripe Dodge Rhombi logo. In Canada, the Hemi Orange appearance package is priced at $2,395.
The option nods to the Durango R/T’s powerplant, a 5.7L Hemi V8, and will be available on all exterior colours of grey, black, red or white.
Two additional packages will be available. The Hemi Orange Plus Package adds features such as a sunroof and 19-speaker premium sound system for $4,995; while the Hemi Orange Tow N Go adds 20-inch wheels, orange Brembo brake calipers, Bilstein suspension, and advanced towing features for $5,495. All Hemi Orange packages will be available later this summer.
