General Motors NZ reveals maiden winners of initiative that puts the focus on customer satisfaction.

Two dealerships have been recognised for excellence across all elements of their business as part of General Motors New Zealand’s new aftersales “Legends Programme”.
The awards, which are in their first year, place a particular focus on customer satisfaction and have gone to Giltrap North Shore in Auckland and Robertson Prestige in Palmerston North.
Stephen Matthews, GM NZ’s general manager – aftersales, says: “Judging a dealership and its team on all facets of its operation is the most accurate measure of overall success.
“There are 31 Holden service centres around the country, so we know the winners have well and truly achieved to the highest level possible.”
Judging criteria covered parts sales, service, customer satisfaction, facility standards, commitment to technical training and administration considerations.
Phil Dixon, general manager of Giltrap North Shore, says he is proud the dealership and his team scooped one of the inaugural honours.
“We are humbled to receive this award, which has been achieved by truly dedicated parts and service teams,” he adds.
Mark Harris, dealer principal of Robertson Prestige, was equally pleased with his company being crowned a winner in the Legends Programme.
“Maintaining excellence in everything we do is what we strive for every day, so this award is recognition that we’re achieving this goal,” notes Harris.
