Plus: Mercedes-Benz Vito sub-RRP drive-away deal, and more savings with Suzuki Swift

Have you always fancied something sporty and European but couldn’t quite justify it over a mainstream SUV?
What’s more, are you among the many to have always longed to own an Alfa Romeo?
This could be your chance to make that move, with the 2021 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Sport AWD automatic on sale at the moment from $69,950 drive-away.
That’s a price that normally requires on-road costs to be added, but in this case they’re thrown in as part of the deal – a big saving worth thousands of dollars.
Powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, the Stelvio pairs stunning Italian looks with sporty 148kW/330Nm outputs to make it one of the spicier mid-size SUVs out there both visually and to drive.
Of course, European SUVs aren’t ideal for carrying commercial loads and delivering goods – especially if you’d prefer a manual transmission.
Thankfully, Mercedes-Benz Vans has that demographic covered with its 2022 Mercedes-Benz Vito Van 111CDI SWB manual, which is currently on sale for $43,990 drive-away.

This is a particularly solid deal being offered here because the manual 111CDI SWB usually carries a sticker price of $44,278 plus on-road costs.
So not only are prospective buyers saving a couple of hundred bucks off the list price, they’re also being spared the on-road costs which typically add thousands and, for the unprepared, can quickly blow budgets.
The short-wheelbase Vito 111CDI offers delivery and courier drivers 5500 litres of cargo space, a payload of 1252kg and a braked towing capacity of 2000kg. It uses a 1.6-litre turbo-diesel engine that churns out a modest 84kW/270Nm.
Suzuki, meanwhile, has continued its tasty drive-away offers for another week, this time applying them to its base-model 2022 Suzuki Swift GLS manual.

Yours for $24,490 drive-away, the cheapest Suzuki Swift on the market usually retails for $23,490 before on-road costs, meaning the Japanese brand is very kindly bundling all these various additional costs into one easy-to-swallow $1000 premium.
There is one catch, however; this offer isn’t available in northern New South Wales or Queensland, where the Suzuki product line is handled by a different distributor.
