Classic Legends has yet again shared another teaser on social media and it could be regarding the upcoming Yezdi motorcycles. The latest social media post from Classic Legends shows the date 13th January 2021.

Previously, Classic Legends teased the upcoming Yezdi motorcycle on social media platforms and hinted at the potential launch of the brand in near future.

Classic Legends has also created official social media accounts under the newly formed Yezdi brand and the official Twitter handle goes by the name ‘yezdiforever’. In the previous social media announcement from the Yezdi brand’s official social media account, the company tweeted “Look who’s back?” with a 15-second digital art consisting of earlier Yezdi models.

While Yezdi announced its arrival on social media platforms, Jawa Motorcycles tweeted “We have disowned our own – the original bad boy. Head over to the infamous yezdiforever to check out the notorious #YezdiForever!”

Apart from that, the tweet from Jawa Motorcycle’s official Twitter handle also carried an image with the caption “PUBLIC NOTICE” and below it was written ” General public is hereby notified that our brother from the same mother has decided to strike out on its own. Although the names of Jawa and Yezdi have been taken in the same breath for many years, now it’s time for Yezdi to carve out its new identity”.

Now, the Mahindra backed company has shared the second update on social media. Though the latest social media post does not say anything regarding the Yezdi brand or Yezdi motorcycles, the post mentions a particular date.

Since the post only mentions a particular date, we assume it will be related to the Yezdi brand as Classic Legends has already revealed the BSA motorcycle brand recently in the UK.
Speaking about Classic Legends, the Mahindra backed company has already revived the classic brand ‘Jawa’ in 2018 and recently revived the BSA brand.

The company already has three motorcycles under the Jawa brand and one motorcycle under the BSA brand. However, the latter is yet to be launched in India and was recently revealed in Birmingham, UK.

Speaking about the Yezdi brand in India, the brand had quite a cult following in the country and was a favourite among drag race enthusiasts across the country.

According to sources, the first two motorcycles from the revived Yezdi brand will be the Roadking scrambler and the adventure variant based on the same motorcycle.

Both motorcycles will come with an attractive neo-retro styling and sport a very comfortable riding posture with centrally mounted footpegs.

The Yezdi Roadking Scrambler will come with dual-purpose tyres, upswept exhaust, dual rear shock absorbers and a few more to tackle mild off-roading. The motorcycle is also said to sport 17-inch spoke wheels and quilted leather seats.

On the other hand, the adventure version of the Yezdi Roadking will come with a more advanced mono-shock absorber at the rear and a longer travel suspension at the front. The motorcycle will also feature off-road friendly 19-inch tyres at the front and is said to come with a shock-proof casing for the digital instrument cluster.

We also expect both these motorcycles to sport the larger 334cc engine from the Jawa Perak. This engine will be slightly retuned to produce better torque to suit the characteristics of the Yezdi motorcycles.

Thoughts About Yezdi Motorcycles
We expect the upcoming motorcycles from Yezdi to offer tough competition to the Royal Enfield Himalayan and the upcoming Royal Enfield ‘Hunter’.
Also, we expect Yezdi to gobble a significant chunk of sales from the Royal Enfield Himalayan.
