Amidst the restrictions across India due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bajaj has introduced a new variant of the popular Pulsar 125. The new variant gets split seat, making the Pulsar 125 more aggressive. It is only available with the disc brake variant and is priced at Rs 75,462. It is about Rs 3,600 more expensive than the single-piece seat version of the bike. It also gets a host of new features.

The other cosmetic changes that differentiate the split-seat version of the Pulsar 125 compared to the regular single-piece seat version of the bike. The Pulsar 125 gets changes like split grab rails and an under-engine belly pan that makes it look muscular.

The Bajaj Pulsar 125 was launched in the Indian market last year. It is the entry-level bike of the Pulsar series and has become quite popular. Bajaj has reportedly sold more than 1 lakh units of the Pulsar 125 in the Indian market. Apart from the cosmetic changes, the motorcycle remains identical to the single-piece seat version in technical terms. The bike comes powered by a 124.4cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that 12 Bhp at 8,500 rpm and 11 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

The Bajaj Pulsar 125 split-seat variant is available in three colour options. There is black-red, black-silver and neon green with matt black. The Pulsar 125 takes on the likes of Honda SP125 and Hero Glamour 125 in the market. With the markets opening up across India after the COVID-19 related lockdown comes to an end, the rural areas are witnessing a stable demand for the two-wheelers. In the coming months, we can expect the same from the urban markets as well.
