  • 2023 Genesis Electrified GV70 pricing and features
  • Priced from $127,800 before on-road costs
  • Choice between five-year Chargefox subscription or home charger installation

The 2023 Genesis Electrified GV70 electric SUV will arrive in local showrooms this month, alongside the GV60 and Electrified G80 in the luxury brand’s line-up.

It is priced from $127,800 before on-road costs – a $38,733 premium over the petrol 3.5T AWD Luxury Pack – with one Performance AWD grade on offer.

The electric version of the Genesis GV70 features similar specifications to the flagship 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 variant, but trades petrol power for two electric motors.

It competes against the BMW iX3, Mercedes-Benz EQC, Audi E-Tron and Jaguar I-Pace in the premium medium electric SUV segment in Australia.

With two electric motors identical to the GV60 Performance on the front and rear axles, the Electrified GV70 sends power to all four wheels, offering up to 360kW and 700Nm.

This allows for a claimed 0-100km/h time of 4.2 seconds.

Underneath, the Electrified GV70 features a 77.4kWh lithium-ion battery, allowing for a WLTP-rated 445-kilometre driving range.

Featuring an 800-volt electric architecture, the vehicle can charge from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in approximately 18 minutes, when plugged into a 350kW public charger.

Genesis will offer Electrified GV70, G80 and GV60 buyers the choice of a complimentary five-year Chargefox subscription or home A/C charger and installation.
